Grandpa,Oklahoma, 1971
This is my last picture of my Grandpa before he died. He was born in Georgia in 1891 and died in Oklahoma in 1973,his wife Mattie Lee (Leverett)Brintle also died in Eufaula,Oklahoma in 1941. They are both buried in The Mellette Cemetery there.

My ggrandmother was Elizabeth Brintle from
Paulding Co Ga, Dallas. Her father was Oliver Brintle from Caswell Co NC and he moved to Paulding Co Ga. He was there in 1830 he was married to Sarah Brown which we
do not know anything about He gravestone is in ancient faces as his son Oliver and wife and another daughter Eliza Brintle Lawrence.

Hi Jay, In the last year I have been told that my Grandpa's dad and mom were- Oliver Anderson Brintle and Milly Carolyn Leverett whom they called Callie. When I searched I found that they did have a son named James but it says James A. and my grandpa's name was James Oscar as was my dad's James Oscar Brintle Jr. My dad had one sister Margaret Adell Brintle. My dad was born in Okla. on April 08,1927 and died in Kansas City Kansas on Sept 07,1971 My aunt Adell was born in Okla. on Feb.25,1924 and died in Tulsa Okla.on Feb.03,2004. Sherry
