Helen C. Gremillion Hart could tame the wildest animal on Earth. Her love for animals ruled her entire life. She rescued thousands of cats and dogs throughout her life. She had a green thumb and could make anything grow with just the right seeds. Her laugh was contagious and she loved her family dearly. She was a jack of all trades who did everything she could to support her family. She had three children: Marvin Hart, Louis Hart and Stacy Hart Loeffert. Her recipes for burned bottom biscuits, buttermilk chicken fried steaks, and the meanest pot of gumbo have attempted to be replicated by all but, are so missed. She wore her heart on her sleeve and would do anything to protect her family.
