A photo taken of my GrX2 grandfathers gravesite at Mt. Victory Cemetery, Tennison, Coke Co. TX, beside what looked like an abandoned church and cemetery. He fought Co. E 12th GA regulars, and was captured and sent to Point Lookout MD, where he was discharged upon the wars end in May of 1865. He was married to Ellen Jane Bobo,in Hart Co. GA. divorced in 1872, then married to Martha Beck in Marshall Co. Ala, immigrated to TX about the turn of the century along with many of his 16 children from both marriages.
