Gyro Johnsdatter (Saether) Bruseth was born on October 11, 1816 in Nestua, Seter, Øksendal, Sunndal County, Møre- Og Romsdal, Norway to John Jacobsen Sather and Randi Estensdatter (Skrondal) Saether, and had siblings Jacob Johnsen Sæther, Marith Johnsdatter Dalsbø, Brit Johnsdatter Sæther, Eli Johnsdatter Sæther, and Magnhild Johnsdatter Sæther. She was in a relationship with Anders Larsen Bruseth, and had children Lars Anderssen Bruseth, John Anderson Bruseth, Niels Anderssen Bruseth, Paul Anderssen Bruseth, and Ingeborg Andersdatter (Bruseth) Larsen. Gyro Bruseth died at age 83 years old on April 11, 1900 at , in Bruset, Forset, Øksendal, Sunndal, County, Møre Og Romsdal. From a small town of 25,000, we have grown to 1 million plus. And when you add in all of the communities surrounding us (for instance, Saratoga, where I attended high school, living a block from our previous Mayor), we are truly one of the big cities in the US.
