The photo looks more like early 1910's because of the furniture. However, the pillow is homemade, you can see that it is of felt or something as the cuts for the edges. It looks possible that he is posing for his fiance, or girlfriend possibly a wife, he has that look in his eyes. I would say he is appx. 19-21 years old, possibly the pillow made for his college, team? or work or even a church. Thanks for sharing your lovely photo's, Good luck.
