Henry Lee "Harry" Vallance
Henry L. "Harry" Vallance is the son of the late Alvin Russell Vallance of Rison, Arkansas and the late Jewel Vivian Medford Vallance Goode of Forrest Grove, Oregon. Harry enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1953 during the Korean War. He remained in the Navy until his retirement in May 1973. He retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. He is a veteran of the Korean and Viet Nam Wars. His duty stations included :U.S. Naval Training Center, San Diego, California, Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, Texas, USS ARD-31 , U.S. Naval Station, Kodiak, Alaska, VU-3 Naval Air Station Brown Field, Chula Vista California, U.S. Naval Air Station, Dallas, Texas, USS Antietam CVS-36, USS Eugene A. Green DD-711, U.S. Naval Attache Office, American Embassy, Tokyo, Japan, Naval Investigative Service Headquarters, Washington, D.C. and USS Puget Sound AD-38. He is the Great Great Grandson of the late Zachariah Hardin Medford and Martha Wilkes.
