She lived at 75-20 Ridge Boulevard in Bay Ridge for many years. She attended mass at Our Lady of Angels RC Church. Elizabeth Kerwen was an exceptionally talented speech and drama teacher at Bay Ridge High School. She was also the chairman of the speech department. In addition to a beautiful and melodious speaking voice, she was always attractively dressed and had a lovely and refined face with gorgeous blue eyes. She lived a few blocks away from Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church and attended mass regularly. She was a generous teacher and would coach students in speech for free of course if she felt they had talent in theater arts.
