This is my grandfather, Ira George Eppinger, SR., son of Frederick Charles Eppinger and Sophia (nee Busch) Eppinger and his friends fishing and clowning around in Chicago. Ira is the father to my father, Ira George, JR. Ira SR. passed away at the age of 29 in Chicago while my father was just 6 yrs. old. Ira SR. was married to Anna Pelzer, who later remarried "Doc" Arzt, who was my father's stepfather. The names of the friends in the picture are unknown.
