Iva Marie Beach Wilcox
I have an old studio photograph identified as Iva Moree BEACH which was taken at the Anderson Bros. Studio in Xenia, OH. She is identified as being 10 months old at the time the photograph was taken and was born 10 Oct 1899 weighing only 4 lbs. The name Naney McNemar is also written on the back to photograph as if this might be who the photograph was gifted to, though I’m not sure.

Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Iva and her family:

Iva Marie Beach was born in Clinton County, OH to parents Samuel Foster BEACH (1871-1956) and Nineletta or Niletta Suzanna HOLLINGSWORTH (1872-1924). Iva was one of four children born to this couple including Elsie Twilight; Iva Marie; Cora May; and Bessie Pearl BEACH, all born between 1895 and 1905.

Iva was married to James Thomas WILCOX (b. 1893) and they had two children, James T. WILCOX Jr. (1923-1923) and Roberto WILCOX (1929-1929). Iva died May 1967 in Silver City, NM and is buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Silver City, NM. She was living in Bayard, NM prior to her death and had lived in Grant County, NM since 1913. She was survived by her husband and two sisters, Mrs. Lee CHILDRESS of Silver City, NM and Mrs. Bessie CRUMBLEY of Buckhorn, NM.

I am hoping to get this precious photograph back to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
