Hello great photo was wondering could he be related to John Henry Scott or James Scott in my family tree. I have a few photos on here as well under scott family. Check it out!
Back when clothes like this were worn with class. Going for a walk in the park.

Did you know, the higher the top hat, the more money you had back in those days.

It is nice to see proper ladies back then..not like now to where the plastic surgery takes over the body. Those must have been true women.
These people look very well dressed! They have on their best for sure, love the clothes of this era!
No doubt...upper crust/uppity people, however , I do like the attire tho. It must have taken the ladies back then along time to get dressed. No wonder when the 20's came along, they were anxious to cut off their long hair locks, and wear the the shorter dresses.
I must agreed that their elegant attire is more st becoming and suiting to the period! Most indoubiously darling!
So this would be 1800's . anyone got an approx year of date ?
I saw on a special about manners in Victorian Days that the upper class were usually the only ones who wore top hats.
