My Great Grandfather, James Tolbert Cooper, was born in 1860 in what is now Lincoln County, WV. He lived to be 102. His first wife was my Great Grandmother, Lydia Jane Linville, who was the daughter of Mandeville Linville and Angeline Elkins.

Manderville was the son of Logan Linville who was the brother to Preston Linville. Claud married Emmer Cooper who was the daughter of James Tolbert and Lydia Cooper Linville.
