James White - Oregon ? Tintype 5
Unknown "tintype" photo from the collection of the late Stella Jenkins Barnet. This is quite possibly her great-grandfather James White of the 1843 Oregon Trail migration and the settlement of Polk County, Oregon. Stella was born in Cowlitz County, Washington, lived in Yakima County, Washington and died in Walla Walla County, Washington. Her families are Barnet, Jenkins, Tomlinson, White and connecting lines.

Barnet, Jenkins, Tomlinson, White

This appears to be James White, born in Pennsylvania, lived in Indiana and Michigan before traveling west on the Oregon Trail in 1843. Can you verify this picture?
