Photo was taken when Dad was home on leave from Waiouru Military Camp in the Central North Island New Zealnd during WWII. He was a Staff Sergeant duting the war and was turned down for overseas duty because of "flat feet". Mum was in the Womans Auxillary Corps.

I am after any information on forebears or descendants of John Halkett and Jane Robertson who landed in Port Chalmers,New Zealand, aboard the Jessie Readman which sailed from Glasgow on the 26th August 1873and arrived on the 30th November 1873.
