She was married to John Hunter on September 18, 1872 in Wahgunyah, Indigo Shire County, Victoria, and had children George Hunter, Mary Ann Hunter, Alexander Hunter, John Hunter, Jessie May "Mabel" (Hunter) Keast, Robert Alfred William Hunter, Florie Hunter, Agnes Catherine (Hunter) Cook, Alice Hunter, Isabella Hunter, Queenie Evelyn Hunter, and John Thomas Hunter. Jessie Hunter died at age 44 years old on November 16, 1899 in Parkes, Parkes Shire Council County, NSW.
