Joe Pietrowicz better known as Joe Petrovich began his career as a Meteorologist as a producer and talent for Aviation Weather in Anchorage, Alaska, a half-hour program that was broadcast throughout the state. In 1982, he was also an on-camera Meteorologist at The Weather Channel in Atlanta, Georgia, and was a Chief Meteorologist for WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He also worked in St. Louis at KSDK Channel 5 in St. Louis, Missouri, where he was a Meteorologist for 2 years. He also worked for 5 years as a Meteorologist for KTVI Channel 2 in St. Louis, Missouri, and in May 1994, he joined KMOV Channel 4 in St. Louis.
Joe was once a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. He earned the AMS Seal of Approval and received the Superior Service Award from the National Weather Service & has been awarded the Dedicated Service Award as a Meteorologist and a manager.
