John Alexander Gumm, Jr (born Gum) was born in Jefferson, TN in 1857. He was the younger brother of Judy Garland's paternal grandfather (her father's father's brother) for whom we have no photos. He married Lucy Trigg in 1877, shortly before Judy's grandparents were married, and eventually moved to Atlanta, GA where he was a successful businessman. He had three children. This photo is taken from my book, From Tennessee to Oz, The Amazing Saga of Judy Garland's Family History, Parts 1 & 2 by Michelle Russell (pub 2012).
