John was my sweetheart when we were in our early twenties. He was so much fun to be with. This is a picture of him and my mom back in the 70's. John had a great smile and loved to joke around in a silly, sweet kind of way. He loved working on his very cool Triumph TR-6 and driving around Atlanta in it with the top down, of course. He was brilliant and could figure out what ever he put his mind to. He went to Georgia Tech and studied Aeronautical Engineering. I just learned tonight that he died when he was only 42. My heart is in a state of disbelief and grief. Why so young? It just doesn't seem right at all. Rest in peace, John. And blessings of comfort to your family. You made this world a brighter and happier place.
