Death: Nov. 23, 1907
Canton
St. Lawrence County

Son of Russell B. Stark and Eveline Wood, John married Sophia McKnight, with whom he had 5 children.
He was exposed to a milliner's life as the son of a woolen manufacturer. He remained in the St Lawrence, New York area.
His eldest son William, had expressed wonderful experiences growing up in Waddington and along the St Lawrence River. Within one generation there was no one that even knew who John was, much less anything about him. He sadly became only a name on vital records of his children.
Sophia left John sometime before 1900 and his children went with her. John himself lived out the balance of his life in Canton and died there of kidney failure.
