John Oscar (Hurley) Hall home

Family Home! This the family home of John Oscar Hall. John Oscar Hurley Hall was born on August 24, 1851, in Iowa, to Jane Wilson and a Mr. Hurley who he was born out of wedlock to. Mr Hurley was a fugitive and the law found him, convicted him and executed him. John Oscar was adopted by Joshua Challis Hall. He married Lucy Ann Prisbrey and they had eight children together between 1880 and 1893. He then married Gladys Sedrick Alcesta Burke and they had one child together in 1906. He died on September 14, 1937, in Eagar, Arizona, at the age of 86, and was buried there.
