WW2 Wisconsin National Guard 32nd Infantry Division, (The Red Arrows) 129th Artillery / Battery E Artillery - Computer fire director. In Australia between Feb 1943 and October 1943 Camp Cable (as well as dates in 1942). Fought in New Guinea 1942-43 and then Philippines (Luzon) My father was conceived in Australia 1943, presumably unknown to John Szyka. Medals; Exemplary Conduct Medal; Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal; American Defence Service Medal; Philippine Liberation ribbon with one bronze star; 6 overseas service bars; Lapel button, 4 discharge emblems issued. Private/Corporal/Sergeant John Szyka Lived in Nekoosa, Wood County Wisconsin. Alexander High School Worked at Nekoosa Paper Mill. Miami - Palm Springs Community College.
