John W. Royer
I have an old studio photograph of John ROYER which was taken at the Tice Photo Studio in Janesville, WI sometime in the 1870's. John appears to be in his 20's or 30's at the time this photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding John and his family:

John W. ROYER was b. 1845 in Richland Co., OH to parents Jonathan ROYER (1805-1848) and Lydia FRANK (1814-1896) who were married 15 Dec 1836 in Portage Co., OH. John was one of 5 children born to this couple including Catherine Ellen; Leah; Sarah A.; Mary A.; and John W. ROYER, all born between 1838 and 1845. John married Mary Jane “Jennie” WEIRICK or WEIRSCH (1851 or 1852-1935) on 23 Dec 1874 in Rock Co., WI and they had four children including Nellie May; Berina Mabel; Cora Belle; and Verna M. ROYER, all born between 1875 and 1882. John died 6 Sept 1893 in Vandalia, MI and is buried in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Cassopolis, MI.

I am hoping to get the photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
