John Watmuff's first wife (unknown name) died on March 28th, 1803. 001 This is the last Will and Testament 002 of me John Watmuff of Princes Street Leicester Gentleman made this 003 Twenty fourth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight 004 hundred and forty five in manner following that is to say ffirst I here 005 by nominate constitute and appoint my Son Henry Watmuff of No 26* 006 Beresford Terrace Kensington Street Walworth London and my other Son 007 Joseph Watmuff of Leicester Draper Trustees and Executors of this my 008 will I do hereby devise will and bequeath unto my two said Sons Henry 009 Watmuff and Joseph Watmuff all that my freehold estate situate lying 010 and being in Toft in the Parish of Wytham on the Hill in the ''' 011 County of Lincoln and containing by estimation sixty two acres more 012 or less now in the tenure and occupation of Edis Smith of Thurlby 013 in the said County of Lincoln Innkeeper at the yearly rent of one 014 hundred and five pounds sterling all which said freehold estate I ''' 015 hereby will and direct shall be equally divided between my said two 016 sons Henry Watmuff and Joseph Watmuff by my said Trustees in ''' 017 equal shares thereof and the annual rent shall be equally divided " 018 unto and between them yearly and every year amounting to fifty 019 two pounds and ten shillings to each of them but should my said Son " 020 Henry Watmuff be inclined to dispose of his part or share of the said " 021 estate he may by way of virtue of this my will in disposing or selling his " 022 part of the said estate he may by virtue of this my will to his Brother 023 Joseph Watmuff for one thousand pounds and no more. For me, it's been a labor of love for over 20 years. I truly believe with all of my heart that everyone should be remembered for generations to come. I am 2nd generation San Jose and have seen a lot of changes in the area while growing up. We used to be known as the "Valley of Heart's Delight" (because the Valley was covered with orchards and there were many canneries to process the food grown here, which shipped all over the US) - now we have adopted the nickname "Capital of Silicon Valley" and Apple, Ebay, Adobe, Netflix, Facebook, and many more tech companies are within a few miles of my current home in San Jose (including AncientFaces). From a small town of 25,000, we have grown to 1 million plus. And when you add in all of the communities surrounding us (for instance, Saratoga, where I attended high school, living a block from our previous Mayor), we are truly one of the big cities in the US.
