Josephine Elizabeth Wilson

This is a picture of my grandmother, Josephine Elizabeth Wilson in the yard of her folks. Pembroke, Christian County, Kentucky. We called her "Mama Josephine". She was 6 feet tall & played basketball in college until it was stopped for women. In this picture she is 18 years old in 1924. She loved to play solatire & taught us 4 grandkids how. She was so much fun, died when I was 14 years old on November 27th Thanksgiving day 11 A.M. & burried on November 29th what was her 62nd birthday. This was the first funeral I had been to & was a difficult one for our family.
