Julia Kelly Smith Lawrence
I have an old studio photograph identified as Julia LAWRENCE which was taken at the Geo Butt Studio in Norwalk, OH. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870’s or 1880’s with Julia likely in her 40’s at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Julia and her family:

Julia KELLY SMITH was b. 23 Dec 1843 in Ireland and married Miner or Minor LAWRENCE (1833-1917) 15 Mar 1865 in Huron Co., OH. Julia and Miner had 6 children including George Addison; Clara Augusta; Lewis A.; Howard Winfred; Everton Jay; and Wilbert Wight “W.W.” LAWRENCE, all born between 1866 and 1884.

Julia died 26 Feb 1915 in Bronson, OH and is buried in the Hester Cemetery in Norwalk, OH. I believe KELLY was her maiden name and SMITH might have been a first marriage, I just don’t know since records are mixed.

I’d like to get the photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
