I’ve “rescued” two old photographs including members of the KERR Family along with others. The two photographs are identical, except the colorization is different. The photographs appear to have been taken in the early 1900’s with those in the photographs ranging from about 5 years to 20’s. Those identified in the photographs include:
Clarence KERR
Sadie YOUNG
Carrie STIVERS
Lucy KERR
Bessie STIVERS
Ella MILLER
John Willie YOUNG
Little Willie KERR
Hersey KERR
On the back of one photograph a note is written “a warm miss don’t you think it is?” and on the other “Aren’t they happy!” and “if not I wonder why – don’t you”. There is no studio or location indicate on the photographs, though I recovered them in Lexington, KY so that may be a clue to their origin though I don’t know that either. I’m hoping to be able to return them to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of one of these families, or you know someone who might be.
Thanks,
Shelley
