Langholff House and Barn
This home was built around 1848. It is especially interesting because of a type of half timber construction built by early German settlers in Wisconsin and known in Germany. It is the only building of this type in the area where the home and barn were designed and constructed as a single unit. This home is part of the Historic American Buildings Survey.
Date & Place: at Langholff House and Barn in Watertown Dodge Co, Wisconsin USA

I have been researching the Langholff for about 6 years. I am tracing all decendents of Johan Peter Langholff and Charlotte nee Schmidt Langholff from Prussia and settled in Jefferson Wisconsin area around 1849.
