Lavern Clifford Abbott

LAVERN C. ABBOTT Lavern Clifford Abbott was born May 15, 1922, at Salina, the son of Leaceile C. and Maybelle Putsch Abbott. He passed away May 31, 2006 at Community Care of Monmouth, Monmouth, Illinois. He had reached the age of 84 years and 16 days. Survivors include his children: Daniel Abbott of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Cathy Elson of Fairmont, California, Linda Crow of Wells, Kitty Brown of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada; Karen Craig of Rome, Georgia, Sharon Grant of Gladstone, Illinois, and a step-daughter Debbie Sampson of Miami, Oklahoma. The funeral was June 5 at Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis. The family suggests memorials to the Golden Wheel Senior Center.
