This picture is of my great grandparents, Lemuel King Boardman and Ada M. Tharp Boardman with their grandson, Melvin Leroy Boardman. Lemuel was born February 1, 1873 in Elkport, Iowa and died December 10, 1959. Ada was born December 12, 1881 in Potosi, Wisconsin and died July 1, 1967. Melvin was born October 27, 1926 at Alva, Oklahoma and died of diptheria on July 28, 1932. His parents were Glenn and Anna(Fisher) Boardman. Melvin was my mother's, Marie(Boardman)Moore, oldest brother and died 3 years before she was born.
