Lena and Negru on their wedding day

Lena wore a tan suit from the family dress shop (Lee's in Providence, Rhode Island). They were married at a Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue.
Michael and Bessie Greenblatt were witnesses.

Date & Place: February 11, 1941 in Montreal, Montreal County, Quebec Canada

Lena (Brookner) Negru was born on August 18, 1908 at Husiatyn, Austria to Mendel Brookner and Regina Brookner, and had siblings Benjamin Brookner, Max Brookner, Paul Brookner, Mary Zoller, and Pauline Greifer. She married Myer Negru on February 11, 1941, and died at age 96 years old on July 21, 2005 at Montreal, QC, Canada. Lena Negru was buried at Mount Royal Cemetery Chem. de la Forêt, in Montréal, Communauté-Urbaine-de-Montréal County, QC Canada.
