Leonard Anthony Andrucci
Leonard Anthony Andrucci was born on November 7, 1922, in Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, United States. He was the son of John A. Andrucci and Rose M. Andrucci, and had two older sisters named Matiline and Philomena Andrucci. They grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA. Leonard received both his BS and MS degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the Selectees (enlisted Men) category as a Private on July 26, 1943, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. At the time of his enlistment, he was not assigned to any military branch. In 1946, Leonard started his career as a drafting teacher with the Bethlehem School district. He later became the Assistant Director of the Bethlehem Area Vo-Tech High School, a position he held from 1964 until his retirement in 1981. Leonard was an active member of various organizations, including the Bethlehem Boys Club. He was named UNICO Man of the Year, and served as Vice President from 1990 to 1992 and President from 1992 to 1994 of the Bethlehem Area Retired Teachers. In 1986, he was elected as a Director to the Bethlehem School District.
