Member Robert W shared this photo of his grandfather, Leslie A Woolford Sr. (1900-1966 Millville New Jersey) and it stands out to me.

In the 1940 census Leslie was listed as a laborer on road construction and on his WW2 draft card it says he worked at Millville Iron Works. I personally really appreciate these snapshots of a typical person during 'everyday life'.

Leslie's father was Martin Van Buren Woolford and his mother was Lillian Azubah Woolford. (One sibling is known - Viola Woolford Broadwater.) He was married to Lillian Azubah Henry Woolford (1908-1989: Lillian was married 3 times: first, Albert Scullin (died very young); second, Thomas Chattin (2 daughters); third, Leslie Woolford (one son).) On his WW2 draft card Leslie was describe as working at the Millville Iron Works in Millville NJ, being blind in his right eye, 5 ft 7.5 inches tall, weighed 160 lbs, had gray eyes, brown hair, and a sallow complexion. His nex of kin was Amanda Woolford.
