Lina Elizabeth Vandelinder Shoff
I have an old studio photograph of Lina E. VANDELINDER which was taken at the O. F. Weaver's Art Gallery Studio in Beaver Dam, WI. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Lina likely in her 20's or 30's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Lina and her family:

Lina Elizabeth VANDELINDER was b. 1858 in Oswego, NY to parents George Washington VAN DELINDER (1820-1891) and Laura Jane DUMAS (1832-1912). Lina was one of 11 children born to this couple including John Dumas; Catherine Elizabetta; Lina Elizabeth; Charles William; William; Louise L.; Georgianne; Elon; Elva Adele or Adelle; Jennie Eliza or Elizabeth; and Herbert or Hurburt Edgar or Edger VANDELINDER, all born between 1856 and 1876.

Lina married Seymour Augustus SHOFF (1856-1919) in 1901. It appears that Seymour had a son, Arthur Irvin SHOFF (1889-1976) who Lina helped to raise in addition to a daughter, Bess Mertle SHOFF, though I don’t know if she was Lina’s child or a stepdaughter as well. Lina died 15 Aug 1922 in Hitchcock, SD.

I would like to get the photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
