Had to post this adorable picture I found in an antique store. From Springtown, Ohio circa 1880's - 1890's a little boy in his Little Lord Fauntleroy outfit and hair looking like he wished the photographer would take the picture already! Just love it!
Julie Vallance If you click on the photo, you will see that you are not looking at the little girl's hair; rather, she is wearing a hat. From the small photo, it is difficult to determine that...
Nicole Bergquist Kann You are indeed correct. I think it's hard to tell from the small photo and some folks might not know you can enlarge the photo if you click on it! :-)
I think Teresa meant to write hat not cat. There's no cat. That's my picture and I actually have a 5x7 and when I saw her comment I thought "wait...what, there's a cat in there?" I clicked on it looking for the cat, hoping it was REALLY there. I love cats.
This was taken probably around 1923-1924 in Salisbury, NC. The little boy on the left in the dark jacket is my grandfather and the little boy on the right in the lighter colored jacket is his older brother.

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth.
So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her.

My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
