Lois Katherine Heegaard Kneffer
I have an old studio photograph of Lois Katherine HEEGAARD which was taken at the A. W. Dewey Studio in Jamestown, ND. The photograph includes two different poses of Lois who is an infant at the time the photograph was taken. The photograph was a gift to “Aunt Barbara” originally. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Lois and her family:

Lois Katherine or Catherine HEEGAARD was b. 26 Jan 1900 in North Dakota to parents Gustavus or Gustavous August Leroy HEEGAARD (1871-1964) and Elizabeth GEISELER or GIESELER (1876-1952). Lois had two siblings, William Roger HEEGAARD (1905-1973) and Elizabeth “Betty” Pauline HEEGAARD NEILSON (1910-1991). Lois married Herman Charles KNEFFER (1896-1939) on 2 Sept 1925 and she died 1 Nov 1956 in Minneapolis, MN and is buried in the Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.

I’d like to get the photograph back to a family member and appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
