Lucy Conner
I have an old studio photograph of Lucy CONNER which was taken at the F. M. Bailey Studio in Lima, NY. A note also indicates that Lucy died 7 Nov 1882. Lucy appears to be in her 30's at the time the photograph was taken, though the photograph was most likely produced in the 1880's so it may be a photograph that was copied to be shared at the time of her death.

Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Lucy and her family:

Lucy MOSHER or MOSIER was b. 1827 in Saratoga County, NY to parents William MOSHER (1804-1840) and Rhoda JENNINGS (1804-1853). Lucy was one of 8 children born to this couple including Eli; William Henry; Lucy; Rhoda Ann; Samuel; Matina; Joseph; and Philo MOSHER or MOHER, all born between 1825 and 1841.

Lucy married twice, first to Mr. KENDALL and second to Leonard David CONNER (b. 1824) on 26 Dec 1853 in Brooks Grove, NY and they adopted a daughter, Effie May CONNER (b. 1867). In 1880 the family was living in Lima, NY where Leonard was an undertaker. Lucy died 1 or 7 Nov 1882 in Lima, NY.

I am hoping to locate someone from Lucy’s family so that her photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.

Thanks,
Shelley
