Luther Martin Young was born February 25, 1944 to Rennie Young and Glady Alice Mullins Young in Strickland West Virginia. He suffered from Polio as a child and was crippled. He did not have any children of his own, but he was a wonderful uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. He loved music and loved to sing. He for most of his life lived with his mom who helped to take care of him until his death at the age of 56 on June 23, 2000 in Keithville, Louisiana.
