Malcolm McLean Service Record

Malcom McLean was born about 1865 in Dundee, Scotland to Malcom McLean, born 1840, and Mary Urquhart, born 1844. Both of his parents were born in Scotland. Malcolm had one older sister, Elizabeth, born in 1862. Malcolm McLean married Mary Devine, born 1871, on April 7th, 1893 in Dundee, Scotland. They had six children: Elizabeth "Lizzie" or "Bessie", born 1893, Malcolm Jr., born 1895, Mary Agnes, born 1897, Kenneth, born 1898, David, born 1902, and Edward, born 1906. Malcolm was a veteran of World War I, having served in the Highland Light Infantry, Royal Engineers. He died at the age of 54 on July 17th, 1921 in Perth, Scotland. See Malcolm McLean: Obituary.
