A photo of my great great grandmother Maggie Ward Edwards ( she is, i think the daughter of Soloman Ward and Manda Sullivan from Washington Co. TX) Maggie was born Jan 22 1851 and from reports, her mother died shortly after and she was raised by her 'Mammy', her Father remarried to Margarette A. Hope Fischer.
Maggie married Gus Edwards Jan 14 1872 in Washington Co. TX, they moved to Coryell Co, where Gus died in 1918. She moved on to Mereta, Tom Green Co. TX and lived with her daughter Elizabeth Ann 'Betty' who was married to Lute Olds. She, her daughter, her husband, and grandsons are buried in the Mereta Cemetery, Mereta, TX
