Back of photo reads, "Margret Leenche." Photograher is K.W. Beniczky of New York, NY.
I checked every genealogy site I could think of, and there is no such person. I think it is supposed to be "Margaret Lemcke." There is a 1900 New York (Manhattan) census which shows a Thomas Lemcke (born abt 1846 in Germany) married to a Margaret (born in Germany). He is a barber by trade. Their children are Thomas, Jr., George, and another son (whose name is illegible). If you are related to her and want the photo, let me know.
