b. 1/16/1849 Oswego Falls, NY to parents David Andruss Northrup (1820-1856) & Abigail Dorliski Curtiss (1816-1883). m. Henry Clay Howe, attorney, (1832-1889) 4/7/1881. Young widow, she worked in DC. to see son through Cornell. d. 11/2/1937 Memphis. Issue; Harry Northrop Howe (1882-1960).
