John Joseph Sheehan
John went to Marist Brothers Bendigo He played football for YCW and was in their premiership teams in 1954-56 He studied teaching at Melbourne University where he met Dulcie Hoffmann They married at SFX Church in Bendigo in 1959. They rented for a while and eventually built a house at 9 Fenton Street where they lived from 1963-1968. Jacks parents lived with them. They had four children - Barbara Helen, Peter Carl (1960), Vivien Ann (1962) and Yvonne Alison (1964). In 1968 John found work as a Maths Lecturer at Ballarat and move there in June. They bought a house at 1022 Norman Street Wendouree. At the end of the year Jack and Dulc gave birth to their fifth and final child Fiona Mary on 31 December. The girls went to Loretto and Peter St. Patrick's College (1973-1978).
