Martin Matthew Honan of South Portland, Cumberland County, ME was born on July 23, 1913 in Portland to Ellen Theresa (Brogan) Honan and Martin Matthew Honan. He had siblings Helen Frances (Honan) Gorham, John Joseph Honan, James Edward Honan, Margaret Mary (Honan) Marshall, and Robert Andrew V. Honan. He married Julia Frances (Tierney) Honan on June 23, 1937, and they were married until Martin's death in December 1973. He had children Martin Matthew Honan, Richard Gregory Honan, Vincent Michael Honan, Mary Elizabeth Honan, and Dennis J Honan. Martin Honan was buried at Calvary Cemetery 1461 Broadway, in South Portland.
