Marc Rambeau, whose birth name was Marvin L. Rambo Jr., was born to Marvin Lewis Rambo Sr (1916 - 2006) and Anna Jeanette Rodenhiser (1916 - 2003). He had siblings Stephen W., J. Andrew, Kathryn R., Jan E., and Joyce P. Rambo.
As a young adult, still using his birthname Marvin L. Rambo Jr and living in Hollywood CA, Marc appeared in an episode of Alfred Hitchcock's television show - the episode was "Diagnosis Danger." He was under contract at the time to Revue Studios in Hollywood.
Marc also appeared on Broadway in "Conversation at Midnight", with the Los Angeles Repertory Company in "Tiger at the Gates" and did summer stock, in one production appearing with Barbra Streisand (in "The Boyfriend").
Besides the Alfred Hitchcock show mentioned above, Marc subsequently appeared in many other television shows such as "Perry Mason", "Mr. Novak", the "Fred Astaire Show", and "Armstrong Circle Theatre", just to name a few.
Marc trained in acting in New York and Los Angeles, appearing on Broadway, in the Los Angeles Repertory company, in summer stock, in the theater in Fishkill New York, and in the Hyde Park Playhouse.
He died at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City of pneumonia at the age of 42.

I am 2nd generation San Jose and have seen a lot of changes in the area while growing up. We used to be known as the "Valley of Heart's Delight" (because the Valley was covered with orchards and there were many canneries to process the food grown here, which shipped all over the US) - now we have adopted the nickname "Capital of Silicon Valley" and Apple, Ebay, Adobe, Netflix, Facebook, and many more tech companies are within a few miles of my current home in San Jose (including AncientFaces). From a small town of 25,000, we have grown to 1 million plus. And when you add in all of the communities surrounding us (for instance, Saratoga, where I attended high school, living a block from our previous Mayor), we are truly one of the big cities in the US. I am so very proud of my hometown.
