Mary E. McNeil Willcox
I have an old studio photograph of Mary MCNEIL WILLCOX taken at the Hotchkiss Studio in Norwich, NY most likely in the 1880’s or 1890’s. Mary is also identified as “My Mother” on the back of the photograph along with ordering information for more copies of the photograph.

Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Mary and her family:

Mary E. MCNEIL was b. April 1868 in Oxford, NY to parents Clark MCNEIL (1839-1926) and Marion Loomis WEBB (b. 1847) who were married on 26 Sept 1866 in Oxford, NY. Mary had one sibling, a sister Nellie MCNEIL (b. 1870). Mary married Eli or Ely H. WILLCOX (1866-1926 or 1930) on 16 Sept 1891 in Oxford or Smithville, NY.

The couple had a daughter, Marion A. WILLCOX (1895-1910). Mary died 24 Apr 1934 in Oxford, NY and is buried there in the Riverview Cemetery.

I would like to get this photograph to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
