Moving Day, Effie Shaulis
A photo of the Effie Shaulis family on moving day

This is my husband's Great-Grand Aunt. She was born in Waterloo ,Iowa 1874 and died in Los Angeles , California in 1950. Her husband Willis Moser is with her and he died in 1914, so we know that it is sometime before that. They had 10 children!
Date & Place: in Iowa United States

Effie Shaulis and family of Iowa, moving day. I don't know what year (can you tell?) but this photo (not mine) is pretty personal today. I moved a few days ago - with lots of help and with moving guys and a big truck - and I'm looking at this and thinking how lucky we all are in many ways. Life can be much easier. :)

It looks like a good idea... moving their house ??? Sure beats a small open wagon. I absolutely Love old photos.
I bet it was a lot of work, and they may have had to leave furniture , I don't think these covered wagons had lots of space.
