 Moyer MacClendon Bupp
Actor. Bupp is widely remembered for his role in the classic film "Citizen Kane." Born in New York City, Moyer MacClaren Bupp (his full name) first did mostly bit parts on cinema, often with his brother Tommy. Bupp appeared in two Our Gang comedies and in the 1937 Three Stooges short "Cash and Carry," becoming the highest paid male child actor in 1937. He then eventually got better roles in movies such as "The Renegade Trail" (1939) and finally, a starring role in the Warner Brothers film "No Place to Go" (1939), which never was released. In 1941, he was cast by Orson Welles as Charles Foster Kane III, the title character's son, because of the striking resemblance between the two. Bupp was the last living member of either the cast or crew of Citizen Kane. His many credits also include "Abe Lincoln in Illinois" (1940), "Sergeant York" (1941) and "The Devil and Daniel Webster" (1941). After serving in the United States Army during World War II, he retired from cinema.
