This is my grandfather's merchant marine's photo from the 1940's. It's the only photo I have of my grandpa ( the only loving male role model I had growing up other than an uncle )

Joe's mother was June Ann Phillips and Emmett Cylvester Cooper. He was a mechanic in his spare time in particular worked on his old model T ford that was kept in the garage. Grandpa had his own Apple Pie Moonshine Family Recipe and raised son's that were mechanics by nature. Some working on diesel engines and others on El Caminos etc.. He loved his coffee, family, and his grandchildren. He served in the military
