Black & white photo. Subject is a woman, perhaps between 20 and 30 years old, facing front, right arm propped on back of upright Victorian-style wooden chair, hand cupped to shoulder. Left arm behind her back. Wearing white pin-striped patterned blouse, high ruffled neck collar and wide wrist cuffs. Also wearing long dark skirt with buckled belt at waist. Long, dark, wavy hair uplifted in soft bun. Standing in front of typical pastoral scene. Photo, size abt. 5 1/8" x 3 3/4" on thin material, oval shaped and mounted on thick cardboard. Photographer name embossed lower right hand corner: D & W Prophet, Dundee & Edinburgh.
