Nathaniel Smith Lewis

A photo of my Great Uncle Nathaniel Smith Lewis who was a farmer in Peoria before he left with his brother for California. He went to Arizona & Nevada mining. He married Popissita Painter & had 3 children in Lincoln County, Nevada: Elizabeth, Samuel, & Emma. His wife died and he sent Sam & Emma to live with my grandfather in Sheridan. After grade school, they returned to Uncle Nathaniel.
