Nippon Club Gentlemen's Club
1915 photo of the Nippon Club, a gentleman's club in New York City. Founded in 1905, the Nippon Club is the only Japanese traditional gentlemen's club in the United States. This building was built especially for the Nippon Club in 1912. After Pearl Harbor, the building was seized by the U.S. government. In 1956, the club relocated to One Riverside Drive at 72nd Street near Riverside Park.
The club is still in existence, now in mid-town Manhattan.
